Common questions
- Which cloud should we be on?
- Usually the one your team already knows. The differences between the major providers matter far less than the difference between infrastructure someone understands and infrastructure they do not. We work across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud and will say plainly when a migration is not worth its cost.
- Can you reduce what we already spend?
- Frequently, and the first pass rarely requires re-architecting anything: unattached storage, idle environments, oversized instances and retention policies nobody set. We start with a review that reports findings and savings before proposing any work.
- Do you provide on-call cover?
- We set up monitoring and alerting as part of the work, and offer support retainers that include response commitments. What we will not do is put alerting in place and leave you without a documented runbook for what to do when it fires.
