Mobile App Development for iOS and Android
Cross-platform and native mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.
The decision that shapes a mobile budget is not which framework to use — it is whether the app genuinely needs to be an app. Plenty of ideas are better served by a responsive web application that costs less to build and nothing to distribute. When the answer really is an app, the reasons are usually concrete: offline use, hardware access, push notifications people act on, or a store presence customers expect.
We build cross-platform where a shared codebase is the right economics, and native where the platform's own capabilities are the point. Either way the app ships through review, handles being offline, and does not treat a flaky connection on a train as an error state.
What this covers
- iOS & Android development
- Cross-platform (React Native, Flutter)
- App Store optimization
- Push notifications
- Offline-first architecture
- In-app payments
What you get
- Builds submitted to the App Store and Play Console under your accounts
- Store listing copy, screenshots and the metadata review asks for
- Crash reporting and analytics wired up before launch, not after
- A release process your team can run without us
Common questions
- Cross-platform or native — which do we need?
- Cross-platform for most business applications: one codebase, one team, and the difference is invisible to users. Native when the app leans on platform capabilities — heavy camera or sensor work, background processing, or platform-specific interface conventions your users will notice. We recommend based on what the app does, not on what we prefer to write.
- Do you handle App Store submission?
- Yes, including the parts that fail review — privacy declarations, account deletion requirements, and the permissions justification Apple asks for. Submissions go through your developer accounts so the apps stay yours.
- What happens after launch?
- Mobile has a maintenance floor that web does not: the platforms ship new OS versions annually and periodically raise the minimum SDK. Budget for that whether or not you keep us on. We offer support retainers, and we document the release process either way.
