Good interface design is mostly the removal of decisions the user should never have been asked to make. That is unglamorous work and it is where the value is: the screen that needs no explanation, the flow that does not lose people at step three, the error message that says what to do next.

- Can you design without building it?
- Yes. We hand over prototypes and a component library your own developers can work from, with the states and behaviour specified rather than left to interpretation.
- Do you redesign existing products?
- Yes, and we start by finding out where users actually struggle rather than by reskinning. A redesign that moves everything and fixes nothing costs goodwill from the people who had learned the old version.
- Is accessibility included?
- Contrast, focus order, keyboard navigation and semantic structure are part of the work rather than an upgrade. They are also cheaper to design in than to retrofit, and in several of the markets our clients sell into they are a legal requirement.
